Document Review
Although education foundations are charitable organizations, implementing business principles ensure a structure that will enhance productivity, credibility, and sustainability. Corporate documents and corporate structure are both critically important for education foundations and should be reviewed at least annually. Being prepared for crisis to allow the board to continue its governance responsibilities is important, particularly when the unexpected occurs. Foundation Innovation will review the corporate structure of the foundation and provide recommendations for any changes for the Board of Directors to review. Documents reviewed in this service include:
-
IRS Form 1023
-
Certificate of Formation (Articles of Incorporation)
-
Comptroller
-
